On my way.
(In Heathrow Airport, London, UK)
So, I had this really nice guy waiting for me, his name is Rohit, who spent the all day with me in Delhi, he even had to skip work because of it. 1st shock: weather, extremly hot and humid, very difficult to breath, totally different from the air we have. Besides that… all the crayziness, movement, noise, polution of the city destroied almost all my energies. I still had to catch the train during the night till my destination. Went to Delhi Gate, from there till train’s station I was alone in India for the first time (only in the rikshó but a tuff mission when you are too wick to get all that information). Lots of time on trafic… me staring at monkeys, realizing that they are a mix of human beeing with lions, driver notices and tries to communicate (besides all the gestual signs to explain sculptures and buildings): “monkeys!” … smiles a lot… “child!”… smiles a lot…
When I arrived the station I met a familly from Jodhpur in which one of the sons belongs to Aiesec Jodhpur. Pure coincidence. An hour before my train arrives, Rohit and another guy, called Deepak (also very nice), riched the station!! Jodhpur reunion! yey! It was a nice way to say goodbye and I wasn’t in India even for an intire day. Thank you Rohit for all the atention and care.
Next step… an european girl alone on the sleeper’s class of Mandore Express. To sleepy to care too much. Always with window open with my head almost outside when it started to rain.
